ప్రేమంటే అందరూ రకరకాల నిర్వచనాలు ఇస్తుంటారు, ప్రే అంటే ప్రేమించడం, మ అంటే మరచి పోవడం అని, ప్రేమిస్తే మరచిపోలేనిదని, రెండు గుండెల చప్పుడు అని, రెండు హృదయాలను దగ్గర చేసి ఎందరికో దూరం చేస్తుందని ఇలా రకరకలుగా అంటుంటారు. కాని నాకు మాత్రం ప్రేమంటే ఒక నువ్వు, ఒక నేను. ఇద్దరం కలిస్తేనే ప్రేమ.  

కళ్ళతో చూసే ప్రేమ కొద్దికాలం వుంటే, పెదలపై పలికే ప్రేమ పదికాలాలు వుంటే, మనసులో పుట్టిన ప్రేమ మనం చనిపోయేంతవరకూ వుంటుంది. మనపృఎమ కూడా మనస్సులో పుట్టి, పెదాలపై పెరిగి మనస్సుతో ముడిపడి పోయింది.

 నేను వచ్చినప్పటినుండీ నా కన్ను నిన్ను వెదకుతూనే వుంటుంది. నీవు లేవని, రావని అది సమయం కాదని తెలుసు. అయినప్పటికీ ఇంతకుమునుపు నీవు నిల్చున్న ప్రదేసం, నడచిన దారి, తాకిన వస్తువులు అన్నిటిలోనూ నేను నిన్ను వెదకుతూనే వుంటాను. నీ వైట్ & మెరూన్ డ్రస్ బావుంది. ఈ మధ్య నీకు నేనున్నను అంటూ నీవు చూసే చూపు బావుంది. నీ రికగ్నిషన్ బావుంది. అన్నీ బావున్నయి. బాలేందల్లా నేనొక్కడినే. 

ప్రేమ ఈ రెండక్షరాలు ఎంత ఆనందాన్ని ఇస్తున్నాయో అంత నరకాన్ని చూపిస్తున్నాయి.నీవు కళ్ళముందు ఉన్నపుడు ఉన్న సంతోషం, నీవు కళ్ళముందు కనబడకపోయేసరికి నీకు ఏమైందోనన్న విషాదం నన్ను నిలువనివ్వడం లేదు. అనుక్షణం నీవు సంతోషముగా వుండాలనేరా నాకోరిక. నీ కంటి చూపే తప్ప నోటి మాట కరువయ్యింది. ప్రేమ మనిషిలో ధైర్యాన్ని పెంచుతుందంటారు. మన ప్రేమ నిన్ను మరింత పిరికిదాన్ని చేస్తుందేమిటో? నువ్వంటే ప్రాణము రా. అప్పుడూ, ఈప్పుడూ, ఎప్పుడూ కూడా. నీ ప్రతీ పిలుపుకూ నేను సమాధానమవుతుంటాను. అలా కాలేదంటే నేను జీవించి లేనట్టు తెలుసుకో. వెన్నెల లేని జాబిలిలో ప్రకాశం లేనట్టు, నీవు లేని నాలో ఆనందం లేదు.
